MEC MANOPOLE VISITS HANTAM MUNICIPALITY AS PART SOPA BUILD-UP
MEC Mase Manopole led an outreach program in the Hantam Municipality as part of a build up programmes towards the State of the Province Address by Premier Dr. Zamani Saul on Thursday, 2 March 2023. Accompanied by a team of senior managers and Departmental Staff, MEC Manopole visited two schools in the area (Primary and Secondary) and donated health packs, starter packs for the establishment of vegetable gardens and plated trees.
The MEC further visited the Calvinia Waste Recycle project, and made a commitment that the initiative will be sponsored by a compact machine and scale. She concluded the day by meeting representatives from small scale farmers organisations in Hantam.
