SOUTH AFRICA SENDS 200 FIREFIGHTERS TO FIGHT WILDFIRES IN ALBERTA, CANADA

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment’s Working on Fire programme is deploying a team of more than 200 firefighters and management to the Canadian province of Alberta to assist with firefighting and fire suppression efforts.

The Northern Cape Department of Agriculture, Environmental Affairs, Rural Development and Land Reform is challenging the target farmer groups such as the Subsistence, the Smallholder and the Black Commercials to apply for the Comprehensive Agricultural Support and Ilima/Letsema Grant.

The two day Provincial Conference seeks to reflect on what the disbanded People & Parks Committee has achieved and not achieved.
