On the 26 May 2023 a Food Security Awareness Programme was held at the plot of Mme Martha Montshing at the Binneplase of Roodepan where various stakeholders formed part of the workshop.

"Protection of the Northern Cape Ocean environment from all illegal activities is the priority of the SAPS in ensuring a better life for all citizens", said Colonel Herlan Coghlan, the Provincial Commander for Border Policing when addressing the Operation Phakisa multi-disciplinary parade that commenced in Port Nolloth on the 18 May 2023 and concluded on 21 May 2023. The execution area included Kleinsee, Groenrivier, Alexander Bay and Hondeklipbaai.

The second leg of the EXCO Outreach Program commenced in Hopetown in the Pixley ka Seme District Municipal area. The EXCO Programme is lead by the Premier Dr Zamani Saul as part of the feed back session to communities.

The MEC for Agriculture,Environmental Affairs, Rural Development and Land Reform mme Mase Manopole has led the team for rabies vaccinations in Hopetown in the Pixley ka Seme District Municipal area.
